Why were these your favorite quotations?
ReplyDelete-Wayde
To connor: Yes, he enjoyed the outdoors and really wanted to share the beauty of nature with future generations; that's why he devoted his life to promoting the protection of the environment. His interest was especially sparked after he experienced an accident and became temporarily blind. After he regained sight, he realized how much he wanted to share the wonderful gifts of the world around him to others and help them realize how lucky we are to be in such a place.

To Wade: I particularly liked these quotes from Muir from all the ones listed because they express the true wonders of nature and how refreshing just a short hike can be.
ReplyDeleteAdditionally, I found these quotes by Warren to be insightful regarding positive outlooks on life. The third quote I've listed by Warren I found was really inspiring because I read it as him saying that things we do may not be appreciated at the time, but promote what we believe in and are therefore worth every moment.
